For this production of Frida , presented at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, I held the title of Associate Costume Designer and Wardrobe Supervisor. As Associate Costume Designer, my duties included: shopping for costume pieces, hosting fittings, sewing all alterations, building the full Calaveras looks, while also modifying any garments needed in order to shave time off of the quick changes. My duties of Wardrobe Supervisor included: mapping out backstage to support 40 quick changes, leading a team of four IATSE crew to assist with those quick changes, keeping track of 700+ costume pieces, and running laundry for rehearsals and the performances.
